Alban Fùam, a name that derives from the Gaelic meaning “festival of light and sound”, represent an ensemble of Italian musicians whose spirit is deeply linked to Ireland, both in their hearts and in the notes they perform.

Over the years, they have skillfully woven influences from folk, country and bluegrass together with the famous traditional Irish melodies and brought them to life in a contemporary key.

Their aim is to transport the audience to the typical Irish pubs of the early 20th century, through a fusion of modern sounds and the rich heritage of a century of music. The band was formed in 2009 and is composed of Alessandro Antonello on vocals and bodhràn, Cecilia Zanchetta on violin, Lorenzo Lucchese on mandolin, Davide Florio on guitar and Giovanni Franceschini on percussion.
