Harry Potter School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. By "The Fortress"

The School of Witchcraft and Wizardry of La Fortezza reopens its doors on the occasion of Triskell 2023!
The classrooms will be happy to host young wizards and witches during the Summer Campus by offering a busy and interesting calendar of magic and witchcraft lessons.

Below, the costs of individual lessons and packages for pupils and families:

  • Friday 23 and Tuesday 27 June at 17.00 "Defense Against the Dark Arts", wherewe will engage in a "one against one" duelto the sound of Expellarmius, Protego and Stupeficium! €6*

  • Saturday 24 and Wednesday 28 June at 17.00 "Enchantments". You will be taught how to best master your magic wand, along with the main movements to use it like a true sorcerer. €6*

  • Sunday 25 and Thursday 29 June at 17.00 "Potions". Precious herbs, magical ingredients and ancient concoctions will give life to potions of incredible power and rarity! €8*

  • Monday 26 and Friday 30 June at 5.00 pm  "Magic wand". Just follow the instructions left by master Ollivanders step by step to create your very own magic wand. €10*

 

All laboratories are curated by Wolfy and Jordy and last about 40 minutes per lesson

Celtic and fantasy makeup. Hair and make-up course

Enter the Celtic and fantasy world by participating in one of the hair and make-up lessons!
The makeup artist will follow you step by step and teach you how to create a perfect professional make-up for the occasion. Anyone can participate both individually and by bringing a model to try their hand at the role of makeup artist.
You will be taught how to use makeup and brushes and how to style your hair to fully enter the Celtic and fantasy world!
It is not necessary to have specific skills already gained on the subject or to bring any material, as everything necessary to follow the course will be offered by the artist! What are you waiting for? Sign up now! Cost €20 Duration about 1 hour. Maximum 10 participants per group.

Laboratories of FireTales -  Adults

from Thursday 22 June to Sunday 25 at 7.00 pm "Flame Manipulation Workshop".

In nature, fire is the only one that human beings have been able to recreate for millennia, which is why flames are evocative of sentimental archetypes deeply rooted in our depths. The goal is to learn to relate fluidly with fire, starting from the flame, overcoming the innate fear of this element and approaching the atavistic fascination that fire exerts with serenity, knowledge and competence, learning to feed on subtle energies that are generated by the attempt to link the divine with the earth.
The work will be centered both on the element and on the deepening of the self-awareness of those who want to relate to fire, an adequate breathing technique will be treated, also understood as the possibility of self-discipline and self-control; essential both to manage the risks associated with fire, and to learn to live this experience always with a sense of security. In the workshop we will learn about:
– breathing
- movement
– fire safety and surrounding environment
– techniques of pyric expression and manipulation of fire
– body awareness

€20 per person is required by the teacher, for reimbursement of consumables.

  • Monday 26 June at 5.30pm "Lavender Sugar", for children aged 5 and over. Workshop for up to 10 children aged 5 and over. Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

  • ​Tuesday 27 June at 5.30pm "Doll Goddess Brigit". Fabric creation of the goddess Brigid, for children aged 7 and up. Maximum 10 children.Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

  • Wednesday 28 June at 5.30pm Manipulation of Crystal Spheres. The laboratory teaches the child the basic techniques of manipulation and isolation, through the game of the Crystal spheres, starting from the manual confidence with the stage balls, soft and suitable for children's hands, balance, roll and games of illusion, with the basic principles of techniques of this discipline. The workshop is held by a ludic and social circus school teacher. Workshop for up to 10 children aged 5 and over. Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

  • Thursday 29 June at 5.30pm  Magic Potions in Nature. The laboratory teaches children to recognize some aromatic plants and their use in antiquity, involving smell and touch and creating their own personalized potion, thus becoming familiar with the nature that surrounds us. Workshop for up to 10 children aged 5 and over. Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

  • Friday 30 June at 5.30pm Lucky charm. Ancient beliefs and legends about luck, each of us connects our emotions to an object, even more so if the positive energies come from objects collected in nature. Workshop for up to 10 children aged 5 and over. Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

  • Saturday 1st July at 5.30pm Let's build the "Leprechaun's Magic Door" (Irish tradition). The Irish tradition speaks of a little being, a small shoemaker, with a hidden treasure... let's discover his legend together and build a little door that will act as a magical passage between our world and the little people. Workshop for up to 10 children aged 5 and over. Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

  • Sunday 2 July at 17.30 "Lavender Sugar", for children aged 5 and up. Workshop for up to 10 children aged 5 and over. Offer of €5 for reimbursement of materials.

Laboratories of Clan Trumusio

  • Monday 26 June from 16.00 to 17.00 One hour workshop for adults (from 15 years old), for the creation of "Celtic weave jewelry" in waxed cord. The object created (torques, pendants, rings, belt buckles, brooches, bracelets, etc.) will remain the property of the participant. With Bridge. Maximum 10 people. Offer of €10 for reimbursement of materials.

  • ​Tuesday 27 July from 18.00 to 19.00  "Smells and colors. A bag for the soul". Olfactory workshop, dedicated to visually impaired and blind people. The bag created will remain the property of the participant. Free.

  • Thursday 29 July from 16.00 to 17.00 One hour workshop for adults (from 15 years old), for the creation of "Celtic weave jewelry" in waxed rope.   • Thursday 22 June from 16.00 to 17.30 Laboratory of "Leather processing - Horn holder", with Wolf MacAjvar. Creation with the leather of a drinking horn holder, embellished with various manufacturing techniques. The horn is included in the laboratory.   • Friday 23 June from 16.00 to 17.30 Laboratory of "Natural incense" with Atanvarniëë, to learn the ancient art of fumigation and the creation of  natural incense with herbs, resins, spices and essential oils.   • Friday 23 June from 17.30 to 19.00 Laboratory of "Leather working - Wrist bracelet",with Wolf MacAjvar. Teaching of leather working, using all the right tools to create a cuff bracelet, with the sacred symbol of the Triskell in the center. Offer € 15 for materials.* Maximum of 10 participants, also suitable for children aged 10 and over. At the Antichi Mestieri Tent (near the infopoint - blue tent "Wolf MacAjvar's spiced wines").

  • Saturday 24 June from 14.00 to 15.00 Laboratory of "Clay handling - basic course", with Nina Arcoìris MacAjvar. Recycled materials will be used to have fun in a clay manipulation workshop, where the imagination will be given free rein in the creation of small artistic objects.Maximum 15 participants.€8 offer for materials.*Link to the Ecofest.

  • Saturday 24 June from 15.00 to 16.00 Laboratory of "Clay handling - advanced course", with Wolf MacAjvar. The string technique will be taught to create an incense burner bowl. Offer of €8 for materials.* Maximum 15 participants.Link to the Ecofest.

  • Saturday 24 June from 16.00 to 17.00 Laboratory of "Lucky bag". In this workshop, adults and children will have the opportunity to create their own lucky bag with herbs, spices and semi-precious stones and will learn some basic notions on the properties of herbs and spices. with Alessandra Atanvarniëë MacAjvar. At the large white gazebo.

  • Saturday 24 June from 17.00 to 18.30 Laboratory "Weaving a Sacred Mandala - Litha Frame".We'll weave together a Litha-themed Sacred Mandala frame, the pagan holiday of the Summer Solstice.   • Sunday 25 June from 16.30 to 18.00 Laboratory of "Leather working - Bracelet", con Wolf MacAjvar. Getting familiar with the work tools suitable for leather processing and creating a bracelet, acquiring the technique of creating a magical weave, will be the goal of our hour together.   • Wednesday 28 June from 18.00 to 19.00 "Glutton Eats Negative Feelings". Modeling course for children and adults. Screen printing laboratories
Friday 23, Tuesday 27 and Friday 30 June, at 3.30pm, at 3.30pm "Print and take home". Screen printing workshop on paper. The development includes a brief historical introduction to the art of screen printing, followed by an illustration of the materials and methods used today: the process of creating the printing frames will be illustrated and then proceed with the creation of a print on the spot: each participant will be able to try their hand at " pull” the prints and take away one of the prints made. Registrations to the laboratories with a deposit of 50% of the requested amount, must be made inhe headquarters of the association at the New Age Center in via Nordio 4/C in Trieste, at the following times: from Tuesday to Saturday 9.30-13.00 and 16.00-20.00.
