Saturday, June 22nd

From 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM In the new archery area in the grove, a two-hour course will be held with Rob Roy from the A.S.D. Dragon Rouge. Mandatory registration. €10 per person for instruction, maximum of 8 participants.

From 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM Basic clay manipulation workshop with Nina Lavenderfield MacAjvar. Decorating with clay is therapeutic and stimulates our creativity: in this basic course, we will create a small plate that we will decorate imaginatively. For adults and children aged 6 and up - maximum of 20 participants. Offer of €10 for materials. Linked to the Ecofest.

8:00 PM Union ritual between two clan leaders at the historical camp. Denise Cannas, from the "Lough Gur" druidic clan, and Nicola Cricxos Lettiero, from the reenactment clan "Tre Draghi," will unite with the blessing of the elements.

9:00 PM Gnoss (SCO). The distinctive sound of Gnoss is a rich tapestry of acoustic layers; exceptional musicality, deep traditional roots, and contemporary compositional talent combine to create songs and melodies full of character. Directly from Glasgow to Trieste.

9:45 PM Gnoss (ITA). Irish dance show with captivating performances and sparkling choreography, where the study of the past is a solid foundation for the dynamism of faster rhythms. Inclusive large circle at the end of the show.

Followed by Vassago, a fire juggling show in front of the stage.

 

Sunday June 23th

Gathering at 9:30 AM, starting at 10:00 AM until approximately 1:00 PM. "V Triskell Tournament." Friendly dynamic archery competition, open to registered archers from any Federation. Registration fee for the competition is €10. Organized by ASD Dragon Rouge. The competition will take place at Campo Gaja di Padriciano 185 in Trieste.

At 10:30 AM Adult "Harp" workshop with Erika Fumagalli (Fata Foglia). Participants who own a harp are requested to bring their instrument. Some will be available otherwise. Instructor fee is €15. At the main gazebo.

From 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM V Triskell Bodypainting Contest. Body painting event on models by expert body painters. Evening parade on stage and awards ceremony as per regulations. Theme: "Litha. The Summer Solstice." See Body Painting page.

From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM Celtic union rites in the grove, also in Friulian language, celebrated by Atanvarniee. Mandatory pre-registration.

11:30 AM Falconry introduction course. Registration for a maximum of 20 people per session. A donation of €8 per participant is required for animal maintenance. Children up to 12 years old can participate for free but must be accompanied by parents. (See activity page)

1:00 PM Extraordinary restaurant opening.

From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM NEW 2024 Creative workshop "Mandala on paper" with Nina Lavenderfield MacAjvar. Using recycled paper and a few other household tools, we will create a colorful mandala to decorate our home. At the end of the workshop, we will perform a small blessing and good luck ritual. For adults and children aged 6 and up - maximum of 20 participants. Offer of €10 for materials. Linked to the Ecofest.

From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM Leather workshop "Horn cup holder" with Wolf MacAjvar. In this workshop, after each participant chooses their horn cup, we will work with leather using all the suitable tools to create a custom belt horn holder. For adults. Maximum of 20 participants. From 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM Weaving workshop "Mandala Frame" with Nina Lavenderfield MacAjvar. Together, we will weave a Mandala frame dedicated to St. John. At the end of the workshop, we will perform a small blessing and good luck ritual. For adults and youths aged 12 and up. Maximum of 20 participants. Offer of €17 for materials.

5:00 PM "Natural Pigments" workshop. We will create a painting of the tree of life on fabric using the natural oil dye technique. Art and environmental respect. From 6 years old and up. Learning to recognize the meanings of some stones and the representation of some colors used, braiding with taut thread and ropes, the pendant will remain the property of the participant. 9:00 PM Arthuan Rebis (ITA). Celtic harp concert with a multi-instrumentalist artist and composer. From Nordic and bardic folk to Eastern traditions, from archaic to medieval music to pagan/fantasy folk.

At 10:15 PM In Vino Veritas (ITA). Welcome return of this band that mixes various genres, from Nordic and medieval, to prog and folk rock, with overwhelming rhythms and breathtaking arrangements, crowned by hypnotic harmonic songs.

10:00 PM John Falko (ITA). Band created by a singer with considerable musical experience, including participation in Sanremo in the 1990s. He will present his project "Irish Prayer": ancient traditional Irish prayers set to music, linked to the eight Sabbaths of the Celtic calendar but in a rock style. For the first time in Trieste.

9:00 PM Sheeban (PL) Irish and Scottish melodies, for a band primarily inspired by Celtic music, but with a clear rock atmosphere in many tracks. For the first time in Italy exclusively for Trieste and Triskell.

10:30 PM Irdorath (BLR) After 3 years of waiting, they finally arrive in Trieste! Their sound is located on the border between medieval, ethnic, pagan, gothic, and world music styles with a Belarusian nuance and Slavic accents. For the first time at Triskell.

10:30 PM Lyrre (PL) Polish neo-medieval metal band from Krakow, founded by the former hurdy-gurdy player of Eluveitie, Michalina Malisz (hurdy-gurdy, vocals), and her husband, Piotr Martusiński (guitar). The band offers a mix of medieval metal and folk, with uplifting and majestic music that represents a breath of fresh air for fans of symphonic, folk, and atmospheric metal.
